Our weekly youth pottery program is specially designed for the lovers of clay
If you are looking a term activity in Sydney to creatively enrich your child with pottery skills after school, enrol them in our Youth Clay Club!
This pottery term program is perfect for kids who have done some pottery (either hand building or throwing) and would like to take it to the next level. Perfect for Tween & Teens Intermediate students would greatly benefit from this perfect mindful experience. Beginners are welcome!
During this small group term course, kids will learn how to hand build, sculpt & throw on the pottery wheel with the guidance our experiences ceramics teacher, all in a safe and relaxed creative space for a fun learning experience.
All materials are provided. Every session covers a topic so the kids will follow easily the process of pottery from start to finish.
Students are free to arrive straight after school (from 3:15 pm) and hang out in the studio until their class starts.
WEDNESDAY 4:15 pm to 5:45 pm
Tweens and teens aged from 10 to 16 years old
- Pottery starter kit
- Strong focus on developing skills and confidence
- Projects to take home and keep
- The use of our pottery wheel and tools.
- Enough clay to create a range of pieces.
- Bisque & Glaze firing of your favourites pieces.
- Ceramic Paints & Brushes
As most of our students arrive in school uniform, we will have a range of smocks and aprons available, but if they have an old business shirt or large T-shirt from home to throw over their uniform that would be great.
Feel free to BYO afterschool snacks
This class series runs over the school term, at the same time every week.
