Have you always wanted to learn Calligraphy but just didn't know where to start?

Come and join this workshop where you’ll learn the basics of modern calligraphy using a pointed pen. This workshop is for beginners, however anyone is welcome to join.

We’ll introduce you to the supplies and central techniques to open up a whole world of possibilities - from traditional calligraphy, to modern brush and watercolour lettering. 

We’ll cover everything you need to know to create your own lettering style. 

Course content:

We’ll start with an introduction to calligraphy and walk through the different supplies and materials you’ll need to get going. Then we’ll work on some fun drills to get comfortable with the pen before learning the strokes that make up each letter of the alphabet. 

We’ll finish off by creating a beautiful Christmas card using all the techniques we’ve learned!

Course outcome:

After you have completed this workshop, you will have learnt the following:
